What to put on a beauty salon website: masters, prices
A salon client books a particular master, not the salon. She needs to see who is free on a convenient day, what it costs for her hair length and what this master's work looks like. A page that shows all this without a phone call fills the free hours in the schedule.
1. Booking with a particular master
Each master has their own hours, and the booking form shows the free slots, not an administrator. The client picks a service, then a master, then a time.
In a salon with three masters this removes part of the calls like "is Olena free on Friday?". The booking arrives in your panel and in Telegram.
2. A price list with hair length
Colouring short and long hair costs differently. Write both lines: "One-tone colour, short hair from 1,400 UAH", "long hair from 2,200 UAH". The client sees her own price and does not ask for it in a message.
If your masters are at different levels, make two lines for the same service: "stylist" and "top stylist".
3. Packages at one price
A manicure with a pedicure, a haircut with styling, a facial with a massage. Put a package on a line of its own with a price lower than the sum of the two services. Clients see the saving and book both more often.
4. Before and after photos
A pair of shots of the same person shows the result better than a description. Shoot in the same light and from the same angle. Ask the client's permission before publishing.
A few good pairs beat twenty random photos. Caption what was done: the colour, the length, the technique.
5. Masters
A photo, a name, the speciality and the training of each: "colourist, balayage technique course, 2024". A client looks for a specialist in exactly what she needs, for example complex colouring or lash extensions.
A salon with a single master gets the same page too: services, prices, photos of the work and booking.
6. Reviews with the master's name
A review that names the master and the service looks real. Ask for one after the visit: the client writes it on the site, and you publish it once you have read it. One four-star rating with a note on what could have been better reads more honestly than a wall of fives.
Booking rules
Write how many hours ahead a booking can be cancelled without consequences and whether a prepayment is needed. These two lines cut the number of empty slots in the schedule.
How clients find a salon in Google
The queries are specific: "manicure Podil", "balayage colouring Kharkiv", "brows and lashes near the metro". Name the city, the district and the services right in the text.
A Google Maps profile with photos and reviews is a must for a salon, because clients search "near me". How to create a profile is described step by step.
Mistakes that keep a client from booking
- A price list as a picture: a search engine cannot read it, and it is hard to read on a phone.
- One "from" price for all hair lengths.
- Photos from other salons and stock shots.
- Booking only by e-mail or messenger, with no free hours shown.
Frequently asked questions
Can prices differ depending on the master?
Yes. These are two lines in the price list for the same service with different prices.
Do I need a site if clients come from Instagram?
You do. Instagram shows the work, while a site answers questions about the price and free time and is found in Google for a query. How they complement each other is described separately.
Can I show photos of clients?
Only with their consent. The easiest way is to ask permission before the shoot and keep it in a message.
Where to start
The minimum to start with: services with prices, masters and booking. The FastSite template for a beauty salon already has these blocks. A general list for salons and barbershops is given here. What to prepare in advance is in a short checklist, and what a website costs is covered separately.
