A repair service website: prices, warranty, requests
A repair service gets most of its clients at the moment something breaks. On the site a person looks for three answers: what it costs, whether there is a warranty and whether you will come to them. The site that answers at once gets a request instead of a call full of questions.
1. Prices for typical jobs
Nobody knows the exact fault before diagnostics. Starting prices for the ten most common repairs still show whether a repair fits the client's budget.
Be specific: "replacing a washing machine bearing from 1,500 UAH", not "cheap appliance repair".
2. Callout and diagnostics
The most common complaint about a repair technician is a fee nobody mentioned. Write what the callout and the diagnostics cost and whether they count towards the repair once the client agrees to it. Put the price of a callout outside the city on a line of its own.
3. The warranty
The warranty period for the work and, separately, for the parts. Write what it covers and what to do if the fault comes back. A warranty on the page convinces better than a promise on the phone.
4. Areas and hours
List the districts and towns you travel to and the hours you take requests. Write how fast you answer: within an hour or the same day. A client with a leaking pipe calls whoever promises the earliest visit.
5. The request form
Ask for the brand, the model, a description of the fault and a convenient time. You then arrive with the right part, and a second visit is not needed. A request that came in at night is waiting in your panel in the morning.
What builds trust
- Photos of finished work: a repaired board, a replaced screen, a neatly laid pipe.
- Reviews from clients, with their names and what was repaired.
- The brands and kinds of equipment you work with.
- Your business details and the address of the workshop.
Where to start
The minimum to start with: prices, callout terms, the warranty and a request form. The FastSite template for a repair service already has these blocks. What to prepare in advance is in a short checklist, and what a website's price is made of is covered separately.
